A research group dedicated to promoting scholarship and collaboration related to the role of testing and evaluation in accountability systems.
Research Group Profile
The Testing and Evaluation in Educational Accountability Models (TEEAM) research group was established by masters- and doctoral-level students in the Department of Educational Research Methodology under the direction of Dr. Micheline Chalhoub-Deville. The founding members come from diverse backgrounds and perspectives but share an interest in the role played by testing and evaluation in current educational accountability systems. The purpose of this group is to engage in applied research that systematizes research and practice related to accountability systems.
Our hope is that this website and the products of our research will prompt conversations concerning the appropriate use of testing and evaluation practices in accountability contexts, facilitate new collaborations amongst accountability stakeholders, and inform future measurement, evaluation and policy practices.
